Khao serves authentic Thai flavors with a modern touch. Every dish is beautifully presented and full of rich, balanced taste—spicy, sour, sweet, and savory just right. The ingredients are fresh, and you can really feel the care in the cooking. The atmosphere is elegant and the service is friendly and attentive. Perfect place to experience real Thai cuisine in a comfortable setting.

1-star Michelin Thai restaurant that still keep original Thai flavor not too fusion. The atmosphere is casual not too strict like some high-end luxury restaurants. All prawns are very big especially extremely big on Pad Thai. I found the restaurant is busy with Thai and foreign customers. Highly recommended.

We went there to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. It is a Michelin star rated restaurant and from the moment you get inside, you can feel the warmth welcome and greetings of the place. We ordered salad, shrimps and cooked squid. The food was great but we weren't used to some of the tastes especially the salad. After we finished, they offered us some sweets to celebrate our anniversary. The waiters and staff were all nice and smiling all the time. Prices are expensive, but considering this is a Michelin rated restaurant, it is well priced. Ideal for a group gathering or special occasion.

I loved my dinning experience here, even though the number on the bill was a bit high But if recalling those details, this restaurant is a nice pick especially when want to have an occasion to impress or to remember. Every dish we ordered was no doubt tasty with a lovely presentation. But would any dish stand out as the only one, probably not. The standards are there, and dining at Khao feels not only about food but about atmosphere and the service. I am impressed by the service. The waitress is stunning and super professional, and always provides attentive service, which brings the pleasant to every communication. I definitely will visit this place again!

I’ve been in Thailand for over 14 years and traveled all over the country, but KHAO (Ekkamai) truly brings together the best flavors from North, South, and Central Thailand — every dish is outstanding! The crab meat with curry powder, crab omelette, fried noodles with shrimp, and beef green curry were all cooked to perfection. Prices are very reasonable, and they have a great wine list that’s not overpriced. The staff are friendly, funny, and speak good English — their service really makes the evening special. Simple yet elegant décor with a great ambience. Honestly, one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve ever been to in Thailand. Highly recommended!

It is perplexing why Khao lost its Michelin star, especially when another one-star Michelin restaurant in Pathum Wan retained theirs, despite Khao offering superior food and ambience. Dishes were beautifully plated and presented, the taste of the dishes were authentic and I loved the flavourful Choo Chee curry prawns, with my favourite dish of the meal being the moreish minced prawn patties in pepper sauce. While the prawn spring rolls were somewhat bland, the hor mok was better than many that we have tasted. Ingredients used were fresh and service is satisfactory and we enjoyed our dinner here. The desserts were both visually appealing and delicious. Prices are quite reasonable for the quality and ambience but service could be a little warmer.

A Michelin one star Thai cuisine restaurant. A good place for tourists with limited time to experience the soul of Thai food in fine dining setting. Price is almost 2x compare to those famous Thai restaurants in shopping mall. Overall food is nice esp presentation. And must try their desserts variety.
